This lab meeting consists of the Kinesiology department labs that do movement research. We will meet every other Wednesday at 1:30pm in the Doster classroom, SPH. Anyone is welcome to attend.
Next Monday at 1:30pm in room PY128 we will be joined by Hannah Block from the Department of Kinesiology, who will discuss her research using transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to explore how the brain adjusts sensory input to make movements. This is a procedure rarely showcased at the seminar, and its applications have a broad range of implications from motor control to how the brain forms models connecting its internal state to an external environment.
